What r the best kind of picks to get? and should they be thin, medium or heavy for playing electric guitar? Right now I use Fender Celluloid Heavy picks.

Stay away from Fender Celluloids, they could spontanously combust.

Heavy means more matter to burn. But seriously, i like to use Dunlop tortex's. durable and noncombustable.
Ibanez -> Peavey -> Eardrums

Apparently I'm on some list of people to listen to..?

i use heavy/medium for precise picking and i use light for strumming.

U can use lighter picks for strumming and rhythm playing, but if ur soloing or shredding then I would say medium/heavy.

ok i play a lot of metal, mostly fast lead playing, so medium/heavy picks would be best for that?
#13
>>These picks are the best<<

seriously, i got the grey ones, about 6 months ago, and i've only used (and still using) 2 picks.

they last a long time, and they wont fall out of your hands, no matter how hard you rock.

i would say heavy, especially if you want to do pick scratches.

its all preference,

i tend to change my picks every few months, but ive been sticking to mediums for now. I used to use lights, and turn it on its side sort of to do my leads, then i got into the heavys, but ya, now medium
