is the tuning for the classical guitar same with acoustic? cos everytime i tune it to 440Mhz my strings break off

Yes it is the same, standard tuning. You're probably tuning too high.

Yea dude you are tuning too high. The reason it may sound different though is because of the nylon strings on a classical. They don't have that twang to them that the steel strings do. If you are tuning on an electric tuner then it should still work the same because it is the same note. Also make sure you are tuning correctly. EADGBe. That should be your tuning. Thats starting from the thickest string and going to the thinnest.
