^hahaha ooookk

The american is just barely in your price range (they are really really nice)

otherwise i like the thinlines but im not sure it suits your style. highway one teles are pretty nice too (and you could switch out the pickups and still be under your price range)
#4
yeh i like thinlines aswell but for bruce springsteen you probably would want a basic tele that the pups can be easily changed on. i would say the mim tele
#5
I'd say Japanese '62 Custom Reissue Tele shoud be on that price range, I think

Carvin TL-60. Absolutely a great guitar. Cheap on Ebay too.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

The Squier Master Series Thinline is pretty nice. Set neck and two Duncan Designed humbuckers. About $350.00 U.S.
#8
hmm i'd just go fender. Its so classic.

You could go with the 50's, 60's, Thinline series, highway one, american, standard (but i wouldn't because you can afford better), ummm.....
#9
i deff want fender anyways

not some ****ty rip off

Nobody has mentioned JAPANESE Fenders.
Right in your price range too.

Look around for either a '62 Reissue Japanese Telecaster, or a '52 Reissue Japanese Telecaster, both amazing guitars, I've played the '62 RI loads, I feckin' love it.

^Cool, I got £20 off my Vox Clyde McCoy, originally £120, but I got em to £100, really easily.
And they go for £150 new on eBay.

You can probably get a decent USA Standard Tele off of eBay. In fact all teles on eBay have been going for criminally low prices recently, well in your price range.
