hi there,

i just borught a second hand ibanez s520EX and it has Bill lawrence XL500s in it!!! they sound awsome, however, i get loads loads loads of a high pitched squeling feedback when i plug it into my ashdown fallen angel (run it with alot of gain!!!), i also have a jackson with a pair of EMG's (81/85) in it and i dont have the problem here!!!! do i need to change the pots!!! ,if so, what for!!!!! cheers,james

first, turn the gain down and turn your amp away from the guitar. the noise coming out of the amp is making your strings move. at least that's what i think is happening.

no, if i dont even i play i get this high pitched sqeual!!!!
