best guitars for metal are jackson and ESP in my opinion. you cant go wrong with ibanez either.

just buy a strat with two buckers and change them to EMG's

Well cradle of filth use PRS guitars, but like everyone else says ESP, Jackson , B.C. Rich are the best for metal

i would preferbly get a jackson, they are not expensive

*Following information based on the Nymphetamine album, it's hard to keep track *

Paul used a PRS (Paul Reed Smith) guitar as far as I know, I think James may have used an Ibanez (Though I'm not sure) But as stated earlier, Jackson and ESP Guitars are good for metal too though we can't reccomend anything until we have a price range

As for amps, James used Marshalls and Paul used Mesa/Boogies, both pretty expensive, but if you give a price range we may be able to help you find a good, affordable metal amp

Effects, ehhh I think there may have been Wah on the solo for Filthy Little Secret but I wouldn't say it's crucial

ltd/esp but stay away from agathis. NO BC RICH BC RICH IS EQUIVELENT TO A FATULANT CARBOARD BOX WITH STRINGS
jackson's cool too, but once again stay away from low end models
