i just got a new carvin V3, pretty decent amp, i like the features, but the amp i guess works really good with MIDI, but i have no clue about this MIDI and how it works, and i was wonder if its worth getting tangled into or should i just foget about it?
Unless you have a lot of rack equipment or a really high end multi-fx you probably shouldn't bother with it. But to awnser what midi is, it allows you to send digital data that turns things on your amp on an off.
If you could blow up the world with a flick of a switch,
Would you do it?

If you could make everybody poor just so you could be rich,
Would you do it?

With all your power,
What would you do?
MIDI- Musical Instrument Digital Interface, its used to control effects or switch channels on high end amps/effects units like the G-major or G-force.
