I just had my Strat setup by the great guy out of Connecticut, Froc Filipetti.

He is unbelievable. He shaved down the frets, re-installed my stock pickup (I had a Little '59 in the bridge), and did everything that a proper setup requires for $85. I actually got a deal because he is good friends with my guitar teacher and that's how I met him.

Yeah the guitar truly plays like new. I recommend that everyone goes to their local shop and get a good setup done. It can be pricey but is worth it.
