I can't wait to see them in montreal at the end of august !.. anyway I was wondering if anyone who saw one of the show could write the playlist or a short review

i saw them this past tuesday in houston and im going to see them august 2nd and 3rd in denver. they played a lot of what you would expect them to, a TON of songs off of and out come the wolves, a few off of indestructible and a few here and there from lets go and life wont wait. i think there was only one song from the first album and there was only one from rancid 2000 and that was its quite alright. they did that one acoustic. they did a pretty good and long electric set, waited for an encore, played a couple acoustic songs, and then finished it up with a few more electric ones. i thought they would be done after the little acoustic set i was really stoked to see more!

Jay Retard doesn't have a day job and none of his shows require tickets. Same with Ian Mackaye. It's totaly possible to do.

I'm going to see them in montreal august 29 whit Big D (pop ska band) but I think their new album will be great ! Imagine if they mix the styles of their side projects Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards and Transplants mixed up together whit... Rancid and Matt Freeman incredible bass lines to hook it up. I think it will be a little hard-core (little just little) and more punk than indestructible. They had so much bad reviews whit indestructible ! I know Rancid is a pop-punk band but still... They always explore new things whit new albums. Their 3 first albums were pop-punk ska-ish (this sounds cool LoL) but Life Won't Wait was reggae-punk-ska and was different (awesome) than any other Rancid records. Rancid 2000 was a very hard-core punk mix whit Lars big voice. I think if Rancid go for a big change like on LWW and R2K I think they will make a great album. And... Rancid shows are always great ! Like dropkick murphy's ones... You mosh and you have fun, you sing along, you watch Tim do an overdose on stage because he is too messed up. This is worth 28 $

I saw them the other night w/ Reel Big Fish and Avail. It was the best show ever. They played almost the whole Out Come The Wolves album, a good amount of songs from Let's Go, and very little from everything else. They did some acoustic songs and they even covered an Op Ivy track. It was sweet.

I masturbate while my parents are home anyway. Sometimes I invite everyone in the living room for a "family meeting", then spontaneusly whip it out and start beating it. I love family meetings.

Turns out they are coming here, with The Aquabats.

I'll probably go, because I want to see The Aquabats at least once. It'll be kinda cool to see Rancid too.

He plays lead, so he doesn't have to play all the time.

Yeah, look at Fugazi. Ian doesn't play guitar all the time, but he's always got it. Sometimes, Guy Piccioto just jumps around, not even singing backup.
#32
I can't stand Tim's voice, and the bass doesn't really fit in alot of their songs. Anyways, are they playing with anyone?
#33
No, they're playing for 3 hours, filling most of it by playing guitar solos with a violin bow.
#34
i went to the stl show last night, it ****ing ruled. ultraman put on a great show, as did the unseen, but rancid was my favorite, and the pit was insane

THIS IS MY SIGNATURE

I live in a small city and this summer I saw good bands every other night. I still see about 2 good bands a week during the school year. You just have to bring them to your city and get a group of kids excited about Punkrock. Sure you won't get all the big fat wreck bands but who needs them anyways? They suck.
