so im looking for a good head to go along with a good cab.
i looked at some bass cabs...cause i play with a bass amp now.
and i need it to handle MUCHO low end, with no mids.
now, im curious if i should save a couple hundred to get a single rect?
i played one today and it sucked, but ppl said its b/c i didnt let the tubes heat, and for EQ to adjust or something like that.l
also, it wasnt cranked.

i would need a THD hotplate for it. what is the one that will work with the single rect?
can i "undo" the attenuator whenever i want to play louder?

If you get a Recto, please get rid of your MT-2

Save.
And go and play the Single Recto again, EQ it right (get some tips off someone) let it warm up for a while and crank it.
