I am currently trying to play the Eric Clapton song 'Tears In Heaven' and i am having difficulty playing this part:
|----------------
|---2h3p2-----
|----------------
|----------------
|----------------
|----------------

I know what to do but when i try the sound is really quiet and the ring of the string almost stops as soon as i play the second note. Can anyone tell how to improve the sound.

Thank You for your help and time.

For hammers on, you have to hit REAL hard and it has to be quick. For pull offs try plucking the string lightly as you pull your finger off(with the finger that you are pulling off).

As long as you hammer on hard, straight after you've picked the B string it should be loud enough. Try just going
|----------------
|---2h3p2p3p2p3p2 etc
|----------------
|----------------
|----------------
|----------------

for ages to practice :]

I suppose (s)he might try the intro to 'Thunderstruck' by AC/DC?
