I recently bought a digitech GNX4 guitarworkstation, and i was wondering when I connect it to my Vox AD30 valvetronics what are the best settings on the amp? do I turn the gain, bass, mids and treble all the way down? because the gnx has an own amp modulation. If u guys understand what I mean.

Advice would be very much apreciated(?)!!!

Thanxxx.

What i do on my 100 Valvetronix is dial in neutral... IE halfway on each or just put 5 on each and boost the mids slightly. 5 gives you equal of all... then use the EQ on the pedal.

Just be aware that with Valvetronix amps, they tried to be faithful to the original amp, so if the original amp didn't have a mid control, the mid control for that setting won't work. You should consult your manual or the website for the particulars on each channel

Just use your boutique clean channel and turn your gain down to about 25-40%.

Oh, btw, using effects might make your AD30VT sound like its farting on cleans. The stock speaker is crap. I know, I own one.
