Feels Like Home

Remember the time that I told you
That I?d never see you again?
Well it turns out I lied
Only I didn?t know it then
Come on in and don?t be shy
Sit down and brighten my day
No need to hit that switch, no
Let your eyes light the way

When I see you walk, and when I hold your hand
I know for sure that I can try and stand
And when I think I?m all alone, you say
?This feels just like home?

When I stand alone, and when I look around
I try but I cannot hear a sound
I feel it right down to my bones
This feels just like home
I know I?ll never be alone
?Cause this feels just like home
(take us away)

It's a jam song, really... the lyrics take up maybe a sixth of the whole song length. Have at it!
Looking for my India/Django.

i like it.
do you sing it with intensity, or in a melodic nature?

p.s. cool dylan quotation as your "quote" or whatever.

it's good writting, but it's overdone and cliché. i've heard it all before. the rhyming is well executed, maybe not the most original rhymes ever, but it works. you did a good job in keeping it simple, i'm not too fond of big words. the flow is ok, it read fluently

When I see you walk, and when I hold your hand
I know for sure that I can try and stand
And when I think I?m all alone, you say
?This feels just like home?

again, cliché, but i like it anyway. nice thing with the title reference, and a cute stanza

When I stand alone, and when I look around
I try but I cannot hear a sound
I feel it right down to my bones
This feels just like home
I know I?ll never be alone
?Cause this feels just like home

around-sound sounds a bit forced to me, but that maybe that's just me. nothing spectacular here, but solid writing.

can you do mine?
