im going to be playing in my high schools jazz band next year, and i need some improvisation help. does anyone know some good licks or tips for the minior pentatonic scale? thanks a lot.

Someones knowledge of guitar companies spelling determines what amps you can own. Really smart people can own things like Framus because they sound like they might be spelled with a "y" but they aren't.

I wouldn't play any pentatonic scale over jazz progressions...

Don't use penatonic, use mixolydian, dorian, and aeolian, (where they need to be used), and use a lot of arpeggios.
