i got bored of normal chordy things one day and thought id try some new chords but it really is bleedin hard to get new ones to work! so i thought id open a small competition to see who could make the most interesting progression...

rules:
1. no basic chords, im looking for new and exciting ones!
2. if you use any realy obscure chords please tab them down
3. dont make the progressions epic please... keep it above 4 chords and below 12.
4. i feel compelled to list have fun as a rule purely because som many people have done it...
nah, its too cliche.

ok, so no C Am F G thing but we must be able to use chords like Gm9 anmd stuff I hope?

its hard to come up with a ALL new chord that sounds good and use it...
Schecter C1 Classic
Fender Vintage -57 Ri Stratocaster
Fender Blues JR w/ 12"Cannabis Rex
Mad Professor Sky Blue OD
Wampler Ego Compressor
TC Electronics Stereo Chorus/Flanger

The least you could do was post a nice example.

|-0-----------0--0--0--
|-1--1--6--1--1--1--1--
|-0-----------0--0--0--
|-2--2--7--2--3--0--2--
|-0--3--8--3--3--3--3--
|----3--8--3-----3-----

Theres two chords to a measure (the last chord takes up a whole measure), so this proggression takes up 4 measures of common time. I didn't draw in the rythm, its basically [down---down---down---down-up]

EDIT: Theres a C in there now Sounds much better

hows about this one?
  Cmaj7 F9 Dm13 G7
e|-3-----3--7----3--
B|-5-----1--6----3--
G|-4-----2--5----4--
D|-5-----1--7----3--
A|-3-----3-(5)---5--
E|-------1-------3--

sounds kinda cool with a medium speed and kinda mellow strum.

EDIT: i put the root of the Dm13 in in parenthesis, but i think it sounds good without it.

Nice D harmonic minor based progression, with a bit of natural minor thrown in.
