This is great i went last year as well. its a day of bands with plenty of cool cheap **** people bring to sell. Its in the basment of this wierd church its a pretty good time. there are alot of good bands this year punk/hardcore/pop-punk. im probably most excited to see some of the good pop-punk there because good poppunk around here is rare.

I strongly suggest doing something like this its really fun. My contribution is making a bunch of random hand made custom "punk rock flea market" shirts and selling them(and trading) at the show.

bands this year are

http://www.myspace.com/lockandkey <--Lock and key(hardcore/indie, awsome)

http://www.myspace.com/witcheswithdicks <--Witches with dicks (raspy vocal pop-punk, Super excited to see them)

http://www.myspace.com/harlemairshaft <--Harlem Airshaft (rougher indie, good ****)

http://www.myspace.com/insurrectpunk <-- Insurrect (clevo thrash gods, one of the reasons i love cleveland)

http://www.myspace.com/itcamefromyrmother <--plasma for guns(indie, good)

http://www.myspace.com/holy****ingcrap <--Now named 'Iron teeth' (drunk hardcore, awsome live)

http://www.myspace.com/horrorof59 <-- horror of 59 (horror punk, ****ing suck)

http://www.myspace.com/runriotcleveland <-- Run Riot! (punk, theyre alright)

http://www.myspace.com/teenagegrenade <--Teenage grenage (female pop-punk, love them)

http://www.myspace.com/relyrock <--Rely (new hardcore, makes me yawn)

Nereus & the black chairs (I know nothing about them)

Witches with Dicks are supposed to be pretty good, I think I heard about them in MRR or some touring band was telling me about them. That sounds like an awesome time! I'm opening for the Can Kickers in Albany, NY that night.
HELP ME I'M TRAPPED IN A HUMAN BODY!

was this the thing that you went to last year where this dude was screaming in peoples faces, portraying himself as a band?

Said the toddler who took his screen name from a Dead Boys album from '77.

BTW, it's not my fault that your generation can't think of your own musical rebellion, so you have to borrow from '77.

Good luck with the benefit show.
Wish we'd thought of doing that in the 80s.
Oh wait...we did.

I don't like straight edge because it's part of Hardcore, and I don't like Hardcore because, aside from the terrible music, the kids are often very homophobic.

You forgot ugly, lazy and disrespectful.

And how the tables have turned!

Old, new, original, unoriginal, unicorns, corn dogs....can't we all just get along?

We are getting along.
He burned me and I burned him.
All in good fun.

Although, when ya call me an old fart, just remember that I'm several years younger than the guys from Rancid, and the same age as the guys from Green Day and I've always been a purist.

I forgot to post about the show.

It was a great day.

Some really awsome music was played that day everyone was good but horror of 59 and saint helena.

If you get the chance go see witches with dicks and Lock & key do it. There was some awsome pop-punk played( team stray, and some random band that wasnt on the flier either who i loved) Teenage grenade was also a highlight, they were just awsome. There was some really cool abnormal bands. Iron teeth were drunk as hell as always(my ears are still ringing from the sunn amps) they played new stuff and were awsome. And then the best for last was insurrect they played new stuff, me and a very sexually confused fellow next to me raged through the set.

I got some cool **** and talked to ryan from delay. it was a good day.
