Hey im looking for some good pups for my LTD. It currently has ESP LH300's but i wanna add something better and high-output. Im thinking of some EMG combos, but im interested in some passives. Thanks. I play alot of metal but i also do use alot of clean and bluesy distortion. My price range is $100 per pickup.

The only EMG's worth playing are actives, get an EMG 81/60 set, good distortion on the bridge and good cleans on the neck.

get either dimarzio super distortion, or a seymour duncan JB...maybe....the cleans really depend on your amps cleans

wow this guy sounds a little biased. i agree with the super distortion, or maybe the the sd sh5 custom. i think the jb has a tiny bit of twangyness that i cant get ridof.
