At my local music store, who mostly sells extremely ghetto fenders ( think like starcasters) I found an Epiphone Les Paul, it was used but it was only like $220 Would that be normal for a used Epi or would something likely be very wrong with it. I didn't get to play it to see because I was rushed (thanks to my impatient friend) But the finish and every thing seemed fine except for a few minor scratches.

Could that be worse than my Squier Stratocaster?

Wouldn't it be a good upgrade?

ok heres an idea take your 'ghetto' fender
and shove it clean up your ring piece then just
go to a normal guitar shop instead of hanging
around with jenny from the block

Can anyone tell me about the Epiphone Les Paul?
I haven't tried it, how is the guitar?

And the Epiphone SG. (or at least SG shaped)
