Im going to America sometime this week, and I have to leave my guitar and amp here. SO when I get there, Im gonna have to buy new ones (yay!) otherwise id go crazy so im looking at amps from now.

So right now im looking at amps, and the one I have my eye on is the Roland Cube 30. I've heard lots of good things about it, and it has everythign I want in an amp. On musicians friend it costs $230.

Now I was thinking, should I get a tube amp instead? If I was to get a tube amp I would want one at aroudn the same price as the cube. I dunno if there are any good tubes at that price.

There aren't alot of really good tube amps in that range, maybe the Epiphone? Are you looking for permanent gear or just something to screw around on while your in the States?

Just get the Cube, it'll do you fine, and will probably be better than a valve amp at that price.
