Hey there,

I'm playing an Ibanez RG350EX and I want to change my pick-ups...
I'm a big fan on Dimebag, and generally on metal...
I want to buy new pick-ups but mainly the bridge pick-up should change...
What would be better?
1) Bill Lawrence L500-XL
2)Seymour Duncan Dimebucker
3) EMG Hz

The cheapest one is the bill lawrence but everybody seems to like them...
the Dimebucker costs about 120 $
and the EMG...well I'm only interested if there's no one better...

and for the neck eventually I don't know so far, but Dimebag used to play a Seymour Duncan (The one with the black and the white coil)...
So what should I get and has anyone experiences with one of the mentioned pick-ups so far?
Hold my breath
as I wish for death
Oh please god wake me

Dime actually played a Bill Lawrence L500-XL, not the Dimebucker (I think they were trying to model the Dimebucker off of the L500-XL). That would be your best choice. If you're not sure, call Bill up yourself (you can speak with either him or his wife, who knows just as much as he does).

EDIT: As for the neck, I've heard Seymour Duncan JBs are a good choice.

yeah i'd say your best bet is bill, remember to flip the same one he did, i can't remember if it was the bridge or neck but he flipped one of them
