This is more soul, but since it's a classic rock cover, Wilson Pickett does pretty much everything I wish I could do vocally on "Hey Jude".

Midnight Rambler by the Stones is fantastic-Mick being soultry, yet occasionally violent and just vicious and full of rage. Just amazing. My favorite part is at the end when he all but yells, "I'll stick my knife right down your throat! Oh, baby, that hurts..."...<---classic moment

Also, pretty much everything Daltrey on Who's Next and Quadrophenia.

Bohemian Rhapsody and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
well any Freddie Ozzy and Tom ****in Petty will do

Umm...

Yes, Bohemian Rhapsody

Lou Gramm is quite nice

Bruce Springsteen is good on certain things

My favorite vocal performance from ANYONE is on For Crying Out Loud... by Meat Loaf, on the original album. Very interesting, and powerful, and emotional, BUT

There was this guy who covered it once.... and I KILLED HIM!!!

Because it sucked!

Bob Dylan - Baby Let Me Follow You Down on The Last Waltz.
and... Oh Darling! - The Beatles, Paul is so great on that track!
As well, John Fogerty on Fortunate Son - CCR, he has the most raspy voice I've ever heard.

For me nobody can ever touch Plant on Since I've Been Loving You. That wail that he lets out near the end, simply jaw-dropping. But I am also very fond of Daltrey on Teenage Wasteland.
I am Zosoian II, Archbishop of Bron-Yr-Aur, and Cardinal of Zeppelinism.

Roger Daltrey's scream on Won't Get Fooled Again. I forget which live one I'm thinking of, they're all good.
Takamine EG531SSC - "Kim"
Fender Mexican Stratocaster - "Jessica"

Bohemian Rhapsody and The Prophet's Song

I'd agree with that, with Robert Plant (yes?) on the Immigrant Song in second
