This is by no means a build thread, but I am taking wood working next year in highschool. And if I enjoy the class I wanted to make a guitar to show the class. I was thinking this...
-12 string solid body
-Mahogany body
-Maple neck-through
-Solid colour finish
-22 Fret
-neck humbucker
-Bridge humbucker
-Good non-locking tuners
-String through TOM

How much do you think everything would cost? Of course I will be building it myself. And I already have all the tools at hand.

My best guess, depending on quality of parts. Maybe $500-$1200

(high ball is considering you can spend $200-$350 on pickups)

Hmm thats not too bad I guess. How much do you think it could sell for if I made it fairly good crafting skills?
