Yes I realise these have been done before, but most don't contain polls. I found one that had a poll but it was based on background, whereas I'm concerned on birthplace. Or, if you were born in say England, but spent the majority of your life in Spain or something, put Spain. I know that's technically not your nationality but so what.

lol to Tab-O-rama don't be daft it's just you can only have 10 options and I thought I'd only put the names of actual countries down where most people would probably come from i.e. England and America.

I think you'll find if you're born in England, you're English... I don't care about ancestry bollocks from thousands of years ago my parents were born in England, their parents were born in England, etc. etc. Saying "it's not a nationality it's a language" is complete balls. Put it this way, if English isn't a nationality, American certainly isn't, and American's not a language, so what is it??

There's no such thing as an American nationality. Its just a huge mix of different cultures.

I remind people I'm not interested in where you originated from I want to know where you were BORN and RAISED. OK, nationality's not the "correct" term exactly but stop finding reasons to argue.

Yes there is.
You're mixing up nationality, ethnicity and culture. Those are three seperate things.

Nationality is detemined by where you live and what your immigrant status is there. If you're a legal citizen in America, you have an American nationality. Any person of any ethnic background can be an American because it's something you can acquire.

For example, i was born in England and have an English father, but i'm a legal Dutch citizen so my nationality is 100% Dutch despite my heritage.
