Nice guitar, nice pedal, I'm not sure about the amp, I know Kustom is used by a couple different touring bands but I have no hands on expertise.

Not that this thread matters. If you like your gear it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

The Kustom Quad is actually a pretty decent ss amp for not a whole lot of money. I've played thru a couple, and heard other guitarists using them, and I think they sound fine for the money. About as good as you can get in that price range.

It doesn't matter what we think of your gear. Do you like it? Does it work for you? Does it sound good to your ears?

That is what matters. Just because people you've never met on some message board say "Yeah your gear is great" or "No, your gear sucks" it doesn't matter in the least. If it works for you and you like the sound of it, it's good gear for you. And that's what really matters.

I have a kustom quad 100 dfx amp. The dfx is a joke though the reverbs and the distortions are decent enough. I just use a multi pedal and the amp rocks.

Damn thing's LOUD!

^^I'm upgrading to a full tube amp in a few months. And yes. I see now that the MG was a mistake. Luckily I bought it from a place that gives close to the original price in trade in.

LOL!

Maybe but he might be just proud to say he's got an mg. I don't know why people knocks it but my friend's mg 100 watts sounded good with his gibson sg.

Yeah. Well, I've never heard one. I'll bet a lot of the people ragging the MG
probably haven't either. Probably only because it's solid state and not tube.
Solid State's are just fine for a lot of things.
