Yesterday my friend said I could have his EMG HZ.
Today he decided to put the EMG's in his Epi LP Classic.
There goes my chance of free pups.

I still wanna change the pickups though. Which would be good?
I play mostly Metallica, Pantera, Trivium. But in my band we also play rock/punk.
I was thinking about a Bill Lawrence Xl500 since Dimebag used them. but I can get a SD full shred for a good deal.

I've got a HSS Ibanez R442 made out of basswood,
what should be a good pup for me?

Let's get some reactions from the people at home:P

punk can be as high-gain as metal, dont worry about that. i think the bill lawrence would be a good choice.
