I play a bit o everything really, GnR, A7X, Trivium, Metallica, Nirvana, Dillinger Escape Plan.

Maximum of £300 to spend. Tremolo would be nice, but I'm not too bothered. Recommendations?

what amp do you have?
I’m not the man I used to be, I... I can’t go back to Arkham.

I... I should return to Arkham.

Among the churchyard’s mouldering stones I recognise a name – my own.
I have come home to Arkham.

I'd go for an Agile. It's close to your price range. I have a 3500, and it was $530, you might be better off getting a 3000 and swapping the pickups. If you have any questions or wanna see pics of mine and stuff to determine your decision, PM me or post here.
Pissed.

um he's british, but hey. checkout GAK (guitarampkeyboard.com) they're based in brighton but they send stuff everywhere, it's one of the bigger uk online stores, and checkout Thomann.de, they're always about 20% cheaper than uk prices cause they way bigga, and they're german but they ship your guitar in like 5 days for 10 euro, it's pretty good. 300 quid, man i'd go for an ibanez at that price range, that's when they start gettin good, ESP LTD's are still pretty poor at that price and so are a lot of epiphones.

so i'd say have a look at thes guitars at your local shop, try em out, try and bargain them down, if u can't get them at these prices, get them from gak. go to this page http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/p.php?n=113 - it's got the metal/modern guitars, i'd suggest not looking too much at bc-rich or epis, and focus your attention on ibanez (i've got an ESP so i'm not an ibanez fanboy i just think at that price they're your best bet at a great guitar).
