I've been playing on my friends the past few days when I was too lazy to bring an amp to my drummers house. I'd agree, the distortion isn't too great. Not bad, but not great. The cleans on it are great. It IS a Fender amp after all.

It's not a good idea to buy something off the cuff without atleast having played it, read the manual, read user reviews on it, found out what a good price tends to be, etc.

Slow down a bit guys. He never said it was a newer amp. Older Fender Princeton amps were all tube. It could be one of these old amps he had a chance to buy.
