Well, my first guitar was a Fender Squire that I got for about $50. As I now have about 4 guitars, she doesn't get much play in. I've decided that I'm going to do a customization experiment. Here's the mods I plan to be making:

- New paint job (wood finish with an airbrushed dragon or rose running along one side)
- Remove frets (omg fretless guitar!)
- Possibly add new pickups/wiring

And that's it. I forgot to take a picture of it before I started, but here's a picture I took just now of my progress:

I just took the photos with my phone. I probably got some sawdust on the lens or something, haha.
This is really my first venture into guitar customization, and I realized that there is a fairly thick clear coat covering the entire guitar. Should I remove all of this before I repaint it?
