I have a quick question about the pickup switching on my electric (see sig). The switching on rg's and s's with two pickups says that the 2nd position is parallel connected, so I was wondering if it was a coil tap?

It's a mode where the bridge humbucker is wired with the two coils out of phase. Result - shallower, but twangy-ish sound.
