my acoustic strings become old and dark and not sounding good enough so if anyone know how to clean them it would be good.. but dont tell me buy new strings
#2
...honestly....

buy new strings because cleaning them is kinda pointless

unless
you can't change them
in that case go to a local music store.. they might have some string cleaner there
dunlop makes some for electric... don't know about acoustic

Buy new srings, they're only 7 bucks for a set and the old strings will never sound as good as new ones.

Are you pondering what I'm pondering pinky?

I think so, Brain, but where would we buy rubber pants at this hour?

i know WD-40 works good to keep your strings lasting longer. but if they are really bad. just buy new ones
#7
Are you really that money hungry that you clean your strings?

7 bucks, 3 packs for 15.

it took you 15 consecutive hours of practice to realize that playing guitar makes you better at playing guitar. congratulations.

String lubricant, but that would just cost more than buying some strings.

Even though it doesn't really clean them.

i just bought one string from yamaha cuz one of them was cut and it cost me a lot, so imagine the whole set .. that would be pricey, though i'd rather buying a new gibson guitar
