i have the ibanez weeping demon wah....and it sucks.
when i play clean, its good, but when i step on my distortion pedal..there is no wah sweep at all.

AT ALL!
ive messed with settings, moved my foot slower...everything.

should i sell it and get a different wah?

^I usually crank all of the locking knobs, keep it on manual on/off and crank the range knob for my rock sound.

I use the guitar wah for either instrument, unless the bass is clean, but a distorted bass sounds better with a guitar wah, in my opinion.
#7
Is it before or after your distortion. If its before the distortion, then there is much less of a sweep sound. If its after then you get more of a Hendrix sound, much more vocal sounding.

okay, this is what bothers me...

1) your name is avenged sevenfold themed
2) first you say it sucks and then you ask for help on it...

2) Maybe he wants to make sure it doesn't really sucks before he returns it and regrets it.

You're not very smart, are you?

then why wouldn't he just say "does this pedal suck or am i just not using it right?"

Dude just Shut up so whats if his name is Avenged Based maybe just maybe he lieks the band. Stop being a fag.

He just wants to make sure he has tried every possible way to get a good tone out of it. If you just gonna be a douche bag dont even bother ****ing posting.

To Synester. Just keep playing with the controls and run it in different places in your line to see if you can find something good in it. If all esle fails return it and get something new

try changing the wah's position, if it was before your distortion, put it after your distortion or vice versa.
I will show you something different from either
Your shadow in the morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you
I will show you fear in a handful of dust
#19
i put it after...and it sucks away from the distortion.
like alot.

I haven't had this problem with my weeping demon...the wah is less pronounced with distortion, but definitly still there.

Yeah, I did. Agathis IS a pretty poor wood, but it did seem like a great guitar for the price.
