Hi all,

am in need of some advice. I currently own a 1989 fender Strat Plus with 3 Gold Lace Sensors and I find it hard to acheive that great fender tone. Was wondering if its down to the Lace sensors or if its the settings that are cr*p. I'm a decent enough player but am crap at amp (Marshall JCM2000/DSL401) and effect (BOSS-ME50) settings.

I would really like to have a similar sound to john frusciante with his 1962 strat : /

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Tommy.
