I can never find sound clips for the Epi Valve Junior combo, so I was wondering if it sounds like the DR Z Mini Z. Sound clips are at this link

I'd say country or bluegrass would be pretty difficult, for being inbred is a pre-requisite

I'm sorry no, the Dr Z is quite superior in sound.

there's Valve Jr. clips around, i'll look for them.

Here's clips of the head, since the speaker in the combo will be smaller and of lower quality, expect the VJr. combo to sound not as good.

Ibanez -> Peavey -> Eardrums

Apparently I'm on some list of people to listen to..?

Its the same idea, but the Dr. Z has a lot higher quality sound, and I own a VH Head.

wow, that little thing sounds really good from those clips, thanks for that link Funky. Those are some of the best clips I've heard of it so far. That kid is a good player though, I know I wouldn't sound like that on one, lol.

Realistically, I wouldn't expect it to be as good as a Dr. Z for 1/10th the price, but it sounds like a great little amp in it's own right. I know there are already a lot of modifications out that are supposed to make it better too.

EDIT: Hey electrik, happy B-day man!
