hey people of Ultimate Guitar,

I just wanted to ask this question, you may think I am stupid for asking it. Would a Fender Supersonic Head plug into a Marshall 1960a?

Thanks, Unforgivable

As long as the ohms match and the wattage rating for the cab is as much or more than the wattage rating for the head, there's no reason why it shouldn't.

Er... dont' just buy a head soley because it'll work for your cab, go out and try a load of amps.

always the same advice, what if I cant go out and try loads? What if everytime I try to travel 100 miles just to get to a shop with loads of amps, somethings else comes up and I cant?

Well that's completely up to you if you wanna' travel to try something out, I'm not having a go at you, it'd just be the better option to do.

But if you can't try them out, do lots of research, read reviews, sound clips and so on.
