Dunlop Gator Grip 1.5mm or Tortex .88mm, i like the heavier picks becuase the note comes out better, i can't use a flimsy pick becuase it will sound sloppy.

Fender Clears are Great (Medium and Heavy's), just started using Peavey 1.0's and 1.4's too. I also use Match Pik 1.0's, mainly for songs with a lot of powerchords because the heavys make it kinda hard to strum sometimes

listen to RideTheAnger, he is wise beyond his years.

A recent study shows that 92% of all teenagers have moved on to rap music. Put this in your profile if you are one of the 8% who stayed with the real music

i don't mean to sound like a butt-munch, but is this serious? they're picks. i can sort of understand string preference. you MIGHT even be able to convince me about cable preference. but they're freak'in picks for cry'in out loud.

OTHER.
Dunlop Big Stubbys (2-3 mm)
or the dunlop ones with the alligator on it (2-3mm)
or some nice thick bass picks if my bassist will trade me any.

I've had bad picks before(Fender California Clears). They literally fell apart as I was playing and left a bunch of red crap on my guitar. Just recently I started using Dunlop Tortex 1.0 mm's, and I've noticed a difference in my tone and playing.

Yes, I believe picks matter.

.....If Fender DID buy out Jackson, Im quitting guitar and music. Would hate to see the same model of a jackson, the Jackocaster, sold every year with little or no change.

Blue Dunlop Tortex, the only 1 mm they had at Guitar Center. . .

I want something thicker though, maybe like 1.5 mm if i can find it

trying out a Pickboy .075 and i like it. It has holes for a grip. It is also a little sharper then the tortex and for some reason I seam to hits the notes a little more accurately.
