I just went to my local shop and they had a used Standard Tele in wine red, for only $300. The thing is in absolutely perfect condition and sounds great, I tried it out. There is like no fretwear at all and the neck is in great shape. What should I do, I need some more advice because I think I may buy it. I just don't have that much money right now and should really conserve my earnings, but I just don't care and want this thing so bad. Crap!

That's a fairly good deal on a tele. But it's also a common price for a used tele so it's not like if you don't jump on this one you won't find another.

The thing is my local shop never has good guitars. All they have is crappy Jay Turser's and a million crappy Ibanez's. To see a Fender in that place is unheard of.

In that case, I hope you jump all over it. Because if you don't, I'll find a way to get $300 and I'll be all over it like dip on a chip.

It's not a known fact, it's a proven one by scientific research.
It is probably a good idea, if you dont' have a tele, it never hurts to have one.

It's better with no teeth, trust me. Much fewer scars on my penis now that I've switched from seniors in high school to senior citizens.

Look really hard for something wrong with it. You'll either find you can't fault it and you just can't live without it, or there's something minor wrong but you still love it. Anyway, tell 'em the neck isn't quite straight and it needs a new bridge pickup and a setup, and anyway you can get one similar cheaper. Decide how much it's actually worth (or how much you can actually spend on it) and offer them $200. Try to get it for $250, but expect $275.

And next time, be more impulsive!
