I have an esp ltd ec-50 with a tune-o-matic bridge and i was wondering if anybody had any tips on how to palm mute with those kind of bridges, i cant exactly get it right x(

try to center the side of your palm right over the saddles. I moved from a fender-like bridge to a tune-o-matic on my new guitar and I had the same issue at first. you'll get used to it.

what part is the saddle? i should know this i can palm mute fine with my old washburn lyon series guitar, it has a normal bridge on it.

ok i guess i did know that xD When i try to palm mute the low E, the D string sounds too high when its palm muted, so i try to move my hand down a little, and the low E string becomes open, x(

maybe tilt your hand inward a little bit to get the fatty part of your palm to mute the bridge. other than that, I don't know what else to put. it all came together within a week of frequent experimentation.
