squier strats?

Wow... Yes that crappy guitar could definitely be considered the most influential guitar ever. I would have to say, however, that the FENDER Strat has to be at least one of the most influential guitars ever.

I'd definitely say the Fender Esquire, since it brought the solidbody electric into the world.

I said it in terms of electric guitars. If I had to choose, out of all guitars it'd have to be some stuff here

I award you with the international title of uber-twat. Congratulations. I'd like to bring it back to the famous 1987 movie 'Crossroads' and say that "Muddy Waters invented the electric."

I like acoustic as much as the next guy, but this is the electric guitar forum. Therefore, this topic MUST be referring to the most influental ELECTRIC guitar. Furthermore, you're opinions don't start mattering until you get a job.

Fender Esquire FTW.

changing my vote to Esquire, it did come before the Telecaster

Stfu about the acoustic and the electric. 4 string-tsurigi, go make you own thread like this in the acoustic forum. I'd say the most influential guitar would have to be the Fender Statocaster. Only because the high end models to the beginners guitar is similar in looks.
