Love my canrar gs-6 and i think it has lifetime warranty. For planet waves and monster cable, i don't think they will make too much a a difference since they are both GREAT cables. I think instead of asking others what they think i think you should just try them out if possible and pick the one you like.

if a monster breaks do you send it back to the manufature to get it replaced or can you take it to where you bought it? Also does the warranty require a recipe ?

Return them for new ones. That is the why they are great.

Are you kidding? The amount of gas required to drive to the Guitar Store to return it is worth more than the cable itself

im with this guy.
monster cables are a gimmik, they are poorly made, and are over priced.

in the home theater depot, they break all the time. the cables that come with the unit (reciever, DVD palyer, what not) are better quality than the monster cables.

however, monster cables sure do look pretty.
i use Hosa cables. or i make my own.

You don't argue with tubadude on Washburn-related matters, he flosses with the G string from a set of 0.12's y'know....and it's WOUND!

Monster cables are overpriced with questionable buisness practices, the only good thing about them is thel ease of their warrenty.
Just bring the busted one in to any store and get a new one.

Better have a guitar store handy at your next gig then, or you're F-U-K-T ****ed if it breaks.

Although, seriously, a cale is a cable. Some are more durable than others. Just go to a store and choose. They don't exactly vary hugely fom brand to brand.

theres a platuea at how good a cable can be. Over like 20 bucks for a cable means its dumb because u cant make it better quality. Also the gold plated inputs are bull**** they just wear off.
#28
for my first cable i bought i got some 50 dollar mogami thing
the price itself says it will last pretty damn long
yeah.

I use monster and fender cables, the monster cable was given to me and so far ive had it for over 2 years and have never had problems. I bought the fender cablkes because they where moderately inexpensive ive had most of them goin on 5 yeahs now and once again ive never had a problem with them.
