Im pretty sure most of you being guitarists know The Edge's signiture guitar tone/effect. Im just wondering what he does to achieve that. Is it just a combanation of effects pedals or what?

That's Delay. However to truly replicate the Edge's tone you would have to spen thousands of dollars on gear. His live set up could be divided up to supply at least six bands.

Ummm, it's delay and techniuqe. That's it. My friend and i jammed the Angels and Airwaves song the other day cause he was having loads of fun with the drums. That's all it is

there was a u2 bio on tv and he asked his tech how many guitars he had and he had 35!!!

one of the websites that i searched said 83 one said like 175 one said like 45

the one that said 83 had the most credible info so thats the one i went with
