On my electric guitar, there are tons of smudges on the body and they are very visible in the right light. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to clean those off with ruining the guitar or getting it wet. That would be great.

Dunlop makes a cleaner called Formula 65 Guitar Polish and Cleaner. It is pretty much amazing. Go to your local shop or wherever and its around 6 bucks or so, but it lasts forever.

yep. guitar polish. and polishing cloth. keep it handy for the body.
also pick up a fretboard oil (unless a maple board.)

some guitar colors and finishes show smudges worse than others.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.

do you know what it is? is it glue from stickers? or just a buildup of grime and sweat?

Actually the best way to remove smudges from any guitar is an industrial grade sandblaster, i use it for cleaning my axes all the time.
