ahh. this is my 1st recording ever. this is the solo of bat country. I think I did a pretty good job. the only part i didnt do was Synyster's part when the rhtyhm guitar cuts off and the duel guitar starts. its quite hard to do that one lol. well, take a listen and tell me what ya think. the intro is kind of sloppy, but oh well.

Also, when i recorded this and listened to it, i realized that i FINALLY NAILED the part in the solo where he bends up and goes into the tapping type deal (14-16 sec spot).

If I have time I will most likely cover the whole song.

i must say that is pretty awesome although it was a bit scetchy at the duel part i know i couldn't do it myself

FRIGGIN AWASOME DUDE you totaly owned the solo, it was basically flawless, i could barley even make out a screw up in the duell guitar parts, i also like that you took the time to do both guitar parts and a rythem track, if syn was tosick to perform, you could take his place no problem based on what i just heard, i definatly look forward to the whole song cover, rock on man

on that note, ill leave my link for you to critique if you would be so kind

Hey, pretty good attempt mate!!

i have done a cover of the whole song myself but i don think the solo has the style of yours!!
the recording is a bit rough, if that was mixed nicely so you could hear all the notes perfect that would be great!!!!

check my Bat country out on http://www.purevolume.com/jamesporter99

it is the whole song!!! keep up the good work!!

It was alright. Pretty sketchy at some parts though. Cleaned up a tad and it would be perfect. Good job.

james nice job on the cover dude. i loved the intro and the clean part. the solo was very good too. a few wrong notes, but nothing bad. i also loved the ending too. very nice I also enjoyed your Bullet for my Valentine cover. nice!

well I recorded the version of bat country. I was going to finish it all off but I havent learned/memorized all the parts at the end so for now here is what i got

some parts of the solo aren't as good as my 1st attempt, but i think overall this may be better. not sure you decide

on the real song, the bends at 2.32-35 with the trill infront o them

G ----13p10h13t19^21 then 13p10h13t22^25----

the tapping bends!! Syn is famouse for adapting them into his style!!

i dont know, yours just sound like this tab i had where they are played as ordinary bends on the B string instead of tap bends on the G string!

doesnt matter that much i guess but hey!!
