yeah, looking for a good rig that would sound good playing grunge like nirvana and soundgarden. right now im playin with a Jay Turser JT-300 on a tiny Mega Amp that i got for like $50, with a Digitech Death Metal Distortion pedal. It sounds decent but I need an upgrade soon. I would also appreciate it if you gave me a link to see the items.

ya, i own one myself, just if u do get one, dont bother getin the american model, costs alot more and theres no diff, just the pickups are bit better, get a mexican one and just change the pickups

I'd go full out and spend as much as i can to sound good... im lookin to get in a band and were going to start out covering those songs for gigs

See, now thats quite different.

I have only played a handful of guitars, mainly Ibanez's so I would just recomend anything from the S series, RG series (higher end) or the Iceman guitars.

Fender Devilles are very nice tube amps as far as under $1000 goes.
