Cliche'd thread.

Anyways, I would say, Buckethead.
Fender Jaguar -> Polytune -> Diamond Compressor -> Timmy -> OCD -> Big Muff -> Line 6 M9 -> Sonomatic Cheddar -> Spark boost -> Fender BDRI

Randy Rhoads, he used an LP goldtop quite a bit (although he is of course known for his jackson v)

If i were to asess weather or not people were gay just by looking at them, i'd rank synester gates way up there with elton john and george michael.

Anyways, i'd say slash. Maybe jimmy page, but slash will always be on top.

Actually Randy never used a Jackson V. His signature polka dot V was a Sandoval, I believe that Jackson made a prototype for him, but RR V's were only released after he died.
He is still my pick for best LP player though,,,,for the longest time I wanted a white one because of his.

Id actual say synyster gates or however you spell it or slash, syn had good riffs and solos on waking the fallen, just cuz his band sucks doesnt mean he does.

Hanneman played a LP in the early years of Slayer, but I'd have to go with Zakk, or Slash, or hell even Les Paul himself. You also have Mick Mars, who now plays strats due to his medical condition, the weight of the LP's is to much for him.

Hell I'm a Crue head so I'm gonna say Mick Mars. Very underrated. Love his slide solo on Misunderstood.....

id have to say slash, zakk wylde, matt heafy...

Can only be Slash. He wins just for having such an awesome hat.

that, and he keeps on playing even when a cigarette is down his pants.

Seeing as he used one early on in his career, I would have to say Clapton.

Give 10 UGers a rope and ask them to pull. 4 will push, 1 will ask for buttsecks, 2 will tell you get an Ibanez and the last 3 will start complaining about Line6 Spiders.

Slash, Buckethead, Perry, and Les Paul himself are my picks...

Rhoads did use one of his sig jacksons whether they were released after his death or not. Also, to whoever said this, his lp wasn't a gold top it was cream white.
