I've been on a Beatles binge lately, so here's my cover of "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away." I will leave a crit for your work if you just ask.

If anyone else would like to record some vocals for it instead, I will upload the recording without my vocals.

I thought it ok overall. Vocals sound a little off for the song. Not out of tune or anything just didnt match up for the song maybe like you held back a bit. Loved the little lead at the end!! Good Job!! 7/10

I don't think I was holding back. It probably has more to do with my lack of much singing ability.

If anyone else would like to record some vocals for it instead, I will upload the recording without my vocals.

I myself am a Beatles nut, everything that was said before about the echo was right, a little too much. The vocals are definetely in tune...maybe Im so used to the original that im picky about it, eg. I didnt care very much for Eddie Vedders version of this song, I just love the way Lennon sings this song, with him it feels like it's coming straight from the soul...
I dont know how to explain it.....The reason I never tried to record this is because, for me, it cant be improved on, thays just me tho. It was very well played and the little outro solo was great. If you want to hear me try a Beatles tune go here: http://warmgun.dumsic.com I...ahem.....attemped "Hey jude"

Or if you want to crit my latest cover go here https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=403063

My band used to do a cover of this... nice to hear another person's version. Good job.

I agree about there being a little too much echo on the vocals, but I didn't think you did a bad job on them.

Overall, good work.

Cool, I just sent you an email. I forgot to tell you in it that the vocals should be panned right about 50%. Spudric jr.III, I'll check your song out tomorrow at work. Heh....

good work, the vocals may not be pitch perfect but they have a lot of personality. Also your guitar tone was very warm and mellow

Good. Your voice has some sort of echo on it, it doesn't work for the song.

Other than that, it's quite good.
