so im lookin to get a vintage looking guitar....and i dont want a strat...any ideas?

Gretsch guitars have a distinctly vintage look to them. Rickenbacker 330s and 360s are classics. Gibson ES-135, ES-335, SG or Les Paul with soapbars, Epiphone DOT or Sheraton series, Fender Telecaster/Broadcaster... Any of those would fit your "vintage" criteria.

gibson les paul double cut-away ... get it in a faded color maybe ... the archtop gibsons have a little more of that vintage look
