Hello,

I just got back from Guitar Center. I had taken my Standard Stratocaster in to get Texas Special pickups put in. But the great thing is that the guy I worked with put in a push-pull pot for free, and for fourty bucks less than if he did it officially with Guitar Center!

So I brought the Strat home, and played it on my Fender combo. I gotta tell you, that sound is UNBELIEVEABLE!!!! When I played SRV's "Pride and Joy" on the 3rd position, it sounded so damn close to the actual recording I couldn't believe it.

Then I tried out the push-pull pot.

That is possibly the best upgrade I've ever gotten in a guitar. The sound that comes out from using the push pull pot is unbelievable. I can't believe the guy gave it to me for free!!!

Does anyone else have this same/similar setup?

I once jizzed in my cupped hands, my mum came in the room so I put my hands against my face and pretended to cry...never again.
