Hello, I have recently bought a marshall MG30DFX. I have found a website with settings which make a 'jimi hendrix' noise. I was wondering if any one can tell me what 'mid' means or if they can tell my what it does to the noise. Also if any one knows any settings for a marshall mg amp.

mid is a frequency of sound. treble is the higher pitched sound. bass is low. mid is, obviously, the middle then. just play around for it. if you want a metal sound, scoop the mid. which means turn treble and bass to 10 and turn mid to 0 and the gain to 10 and the volume to 11.
