Nuno's awesome. One of my favourite players.

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I worked in Mass, lived in NH from 91-93 and worked with his cousin as an electronic tech. He got us backstage passes to Extremes return concert from European tour at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. He was a nice person and can shred like hell. I always thought the bands lyrics were too rated G for the times meaning after Appetite for Destruction blew up in 87 it became standard operating procedure to use the F word here and there.

I couldnt believe it when Gary Cherone left his mates to join Van Halen, Nuno and Pat are better musicians than Eddie and Michael Anthony for sure. His loss where is he now? fool.

He definitely one of the greatest players in the past 20 years. IMO he taps beter than Eddie just because of how he taps. Nuno taps single strings and arppegios while Eddie usually only does one string or does a scale while tapping. Nuno also didn't stick to one thing as Mr. Eddie "One Trick Pony" Van Halen did, not that he wasn't good or anything.

^^ and Nuno blows eddie away at alternate picking running scales and arpeggios as well. Eddie plays sped up Clapton type pentatonic licks and tapping basically. but eddie was first and changed the world.

Actually Alan Holdsworth was the first one to actually use tapping in his records, but Eddie made it famous since more people listen to rock then jazz fusion.

Yeah its a shame he isnt so highly renowned anymore. I saw some of Extremes reunion videos and he doesnt look the player he was (mind you he was superhuman). Extreme had some great riffs-especially on Pornografitti

The solo in 'Rest In Peace' is one of my favourite, as is the song 'More Than Words'.

One of my favourite players but I really should listen to him more often.

Nuno used to come into the Shell station I worked at as a mechanic in Marlboro. Nuno is from Hudson and was always really cool and down to earth guy to talk with.

I know I'm just stating the obvious but the hay can rip.
