yeah, but IMO that makes it sound thicker to MOST people.

bright stuff is sometimes TOO thin or crispy.
....the trick is finding a somewhat dark amp that cuts through well

Well i own a russian Muff and have tried an american. i prefered the russian, felt more smooth and had more bass.

i hear its a cross between the american and russian one.
oh yea, and i just checked the russian one at a store through a gibson les paul + marshall jcm 2000 and it sounded like crap. ionno it might have been a defective one because it sounded really muddy and it muffled the treble.

isnt the little big muff the same as the muff pi 'cept in a smaller casing?
if so, i would get it because i dont need a f*cking giant box of metal on my pedal board
