I was just recently playing Stevie Ray Vaughans' "Riviera Paradise" on my OLP MM1, and when I play the song I usually play it with the neck pup until the Emadd9 descending where I go to the bridge pup and descend it. Well I was just playing that and when I drug my pick down right by the bridge, and after I played the low E string it sounded like the amp gave. Well I had headphones in so it just went really quiet. I turned off my amp, unplugged my headphones and turned it back on and it was still very quiet and I had the volume turned up all the. I turned it off again and just as the amp went off it went back to nornal volume and I turned it back on and it was back to normal. I kept practicing that song and EVERY time I got to that part it would do that. What I need to know is what's happening to my guitar/amp. and how do I fix it?

You might also have a bad pickup selector switch...I had to change mine out on my Agile. Easy fix.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.
